A simpler way of doing business—with horses, homesteading, and a life worth living at the center of it.

Empyreal Equine grew from a love of horses and a desire to help people care for them in a more thoughtful, natural, and practical way.

What began as an equine education and tack business has gradually evolved into something much closer to the life I actually want to build: a small, diversified farm business centered around horses, homesteading, community, and learning.

I believe good horse keeping doesn't have to be complicated or expensive. There is tremendous value in understanding the horse in front of you, paying attention to the land that supports them, and learning to work with nature rather than constantly working against it.

Horses Are at the Heart of It

Horses are the reason Empyreal Equine exists.

My long-term goal is to continue developing my skills in natural horse keeping, trail riding, Mounted Search & Rescue, and equine trail sports while creating opportunities to help horses find better futures.

As the farm and business grow, I hope to begin fostering and eventually purchasing horses in need of a fresh start—particularly horses who may benefit from patient retraining, practical education, and a thoughtful transition into new homes.

The goal isn't simply to move horses through a program.

It's to help each horse become a good partner for the right person.

A Small Farm Business

Empyreal Equine is also connected to our homestead, Roundabout Farm, where much of what I sell is grown, made, collected, or discovered.

You'll find me at local farmers markets with farm-grown goods and horse treats, while my online sales focus primarily on horse books, secondhand tack, and occasional tack auctions.

Rather than maintaining a constant stream of online content, I'm choosing to keep things simpler: make useful things, sell good things, work with horses, tend the farm, and share what I learn along the way.

Building Something Sustainable

I don't want Empyreal Equine to become a business that requires me to spend my days behind a computer.

I want it to support a life spent doing the things that matter to me—caring for horses, working with the land, learning new skills, participating in my community, riding, and helping horses and people find good partnerships.

That means the business may look a little different from a traditional online brand.

There may not always be a new blog post.

There may not always be something new in the shop.

But there will be horses to care for, things growing in the garden, books and tack waiting for new homes, treats coming out of the farm kitchen, and new adventures taking shape.

That's the kind of business I want to build.

A small business rooted in real life, where the work supports the lifestyle—and the lifestyle gives meaning to the work.
